Integrity Wealth – Planning for the Long Haul with Jeff Coplan
When it comes to securing your financial future, there are countless questions to consider. For many clients of Integrity Wealth, these questions go beyond just growing wealth—they focus on crafting long-term, reliable plans that account for life’s complexities. Jeff Coplan, the founder of Integrity Wealth, has dedicated his career to simplifying sophisticated financial strategies for individuals in Austin, Minnesota and beyond.
Retirement planning isn’t just about setting aside money—it’s about turning those savings into a reliable income stream. This is often the key concern for many of Integrity Wealth’s clients.
“We work with people who have been in their careers for 20 or 30 years and are now starting to think about what retirement actually looks like. They’ve spent years contributing to employer retirement plans, and now it’s about turning that number into a plan that works for their lifestyle,” Jeff explains.
At Integrity Wealth, Jeff focuses on creating customized retirement strategies tailored to each client’s unique needs, avoiding the pitfalls of one-size-fits-all solutions.
Effective tax planning is one of the most important aspects of financial strategy at Integrity Wealth. Jeff stresses the importance of understanding the tax implications of different investment accounts.
“It’s often as simple as asking: Are we paying taxes now, later, or never? Properly understanding the difference between those three things can make all the difference,” Jeff says.
Jeff helps clients develop long-term tax-efficient plans, considering not just their current tax situation but also how tax laws will impact their families and future generations. Whether it’s a Roth IRA or another investment account, the goal is to maximize benefits now and minimize tax burdens in the future.
For many clients, estate planning is crucial, especially when family businesses or farms are involved. Jeff believes that early planning makes the process of wealth transfer smoother and less stressful for all parties involved.
“The toughest part isn’t always what happens when you die—that’s relatively straightforward to explain,” says Jeff. “The challenge comes in deciding when to bring the next generation into the decision-making process. That’s where things get personal.”
Jeff’s experience of incorporating long-term wealth management into estate planning ensures that his clients’ legacies are protected, and that wealth transfers efficiently to the next generation.
Integrity Wealth was born from Jeff’s desire to offer sophisticated financial planning that clients could easily understand. After starting his career at a national firm, Jeff felt limited by the cookie-cutter approaches of larger companies.
“I couldn’t do the kind of sophisticated tax and retirement income planning I wanted to at the big firms. I wanted to present it to clients in a way that was simple, so I started Integrity Wealth to do just that,” Jeff shares.
Jeff chose Austin, Minnesota to expand his business, valuing its unique blend of small-town charm and vibrant culture.
“I grew up in Brookings, South Dakota, a town very similar to Austin. It’s a place where you can get from one place to another on foot, and there’s a deep appreciation for arts and culture. That’s something that really drew me to Austin,” Jeff reflects.
Whether you’re just beginning to plan for retirement or looking to ensure your wealth transfers smoothly to the next generation, Integrity Wealth is ready to help you build a plan that makes sense for your unique situation.
